Obituary: International Exposition Center
(nee "the Cleveland Bomber Plant"), of Cleveland, age 34, born October 18, 1985, passed away September 16, 2020 due to COVID-19 complications. Beloved mother of the I-X Indoor Amusement Park, the Cleveland Boat Show, the Great Big Home + Garden Show, and the Cleveland Auto Show. Preceded in death by her entertaining cousins Geauga Lake and Wildwater Kingdom and her neighbor, Cleveland-Hopkins Concourse D.
Known by close friends as "the I-X Center," she brought smiles to the faces of hundreds of thousands of Clevelanders over the course of her short life. The I-X will be remembered for her legendary musical talent (below), her ten-story Ferris Wheel that was the world's largest when unveiled, her 2.2 million square feet (9th biggest in the world), and her famously delicious cooking in her food court. Before her current iteration, she helped America win WWII by building B-29 bombers.
Memorial contributions may be made by singing or humming "So cool so fun, if you're not here you're the only one" until your significant other kicks you out.
